Weller Special Reserve

Drink the bottle labeled "11." Leave your tasting notes in the comments.

The Original Wheated Bourbon Whiskey features an exceptionally smooth taste, substituting wheat for rye grain. Bottled at 90 proof, this bourbon stands out with its burnt orange color. Its softer flavor notes make this bourbon great for sipping or making cocktails.

Age: NAS (Aged around 7 years)

Proof: 90

Origin: Frankfort, KY

  1. Color: medium amber
    Nose: vanilla, cedar, dried cherry,
    Taste: soft spice, honey, vanilla,
    Finish: short but soft

This one is really good. It’s not amazing, but it’s solid. I could happily drink this on a regular basis.

  2. I get a lot of burn. Some spice. Not much in the finish. It’s OK. 2.

  4. Agreed, this is nothing fancy. I like it. Nothing exceptional but no off flavors either. A nice burn to it and a clean finish.

  5. We like this one. Nice roasted caramel flavors, fills the mouth with the right kind of burn. We are sharing with my BIL and he says "well balanced, medium body delightfulness". Personally not as nice as 3 or 5 but I enjoyed it.
